Los Angeles based Comedian, BlakkSmyth Rog is more than meets the eye.
The multidisciplinary artist is gifted in many areas including stand up comedy, acting, writing, rapping, singing, voice acting, content creating, and live production. BlakkSmyth comes from a large southern baptist family, and attributes his sense of humor and knack for performance to his upbringing. He also attributes his discipline to the fact that both his mother and father are military veterans.
BlakkSmyth flaunts his story telling chops as the head writer on YouTube Series turned Tubi Movie “The Get Back,” a dramatic street film about a man’s quest to get even with his attempted killer. BlakkSmyth Rog has also written a plethora of other YouTube series. Two of his more notable ones being “That Time Of The Month” with Ms. Sade and “NoveLA” with Bigg Jah.
BlakkSmyth has worked with Apple as a voaclist in their Digital Audio Workstation, Garage Band, and has featured on multiple EDM tracks with artists Ricky West, Fish Scale, Rico Act, Sparx, Brain Hunters, and many others.
As a comedian, he has shared the stage with headliners Jay Leno and Tiffany Haddish. He has also performed at The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store, and The Hollywood Improv, and does corporate comedy events around the country.
